Divisions A and B: Five man teams representing US Squash districts, colleges, universities or schools will be placed in two separate Championships draws. Feed-in Draws and Consolation Plate will guarantee every team two matches. Matches may be played at a number of facilities in the greater Hartford area. Ideally we would like to play all matches at Trinity/Kellner Squash Center.
Schedule: Depending on the size of entry first round play for Division A and B could begin as early as 12:00 noon Friday, February 18, 2005. A minimum of one round (maybe two) will be played on Friday. Finals will be played mid-afternoon, Sunday, February 20, 2005. Last match will finish @ 4:00 PM. Team Captains should call Tournament Director Paul Assaiante at 860-297-2121 for first round match times after 12:00 noon, Tuesday February 15, 2005. REMINDER: ENTRY DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 4, 2005.
Entry Fee: Entry fee is $75.00 per player. Entry fee includes Saturday evening team dinner.
Entry Deadline: The US Squash office must receive all entries and payments no later than the close of business, Friday, February 4, 2005. No phone, fax or email entries are accepted.
Eligibility: All U.S. citizens, full time students and/or residents must be US Squash members in good standing. Lensed eye protection, designed for racquet sports, which meets or exceeds ASTM F803 standards are mandatory on court at all times.
Accommodations: The Crowne Plaza Hotel, 50 Morgan Street, Hartford, CT 06120 860-549-2400, ask for Reservations. Parking on site. $102.00/night. Please make your reservations as early as possible and mention Trinity College.
Social: Saturday Team dinner in Mather Hall, Trinity campus @ 7:00 PM
Registration: Tournament Headquarters will be Trinity College/ Kellner Squash Center. Paul Assaiante, Tournament Director, 860-297-2121. Registration will begin as early as 11:00 AM, Friday, February 18, 2005. All players must register before competing.
Results: Captains from BOTH Teams must report all match results to Tournament Desk no later than 15 MINUTES after the last match has concluded.
Defaults: In the event that a Team is unable to field 5 players for a scheduled match - due to injury, illness, late arrival, etc - players from that team must fill the next highest position(s) -- based on the order of the original "Line-Up" submitted -- and forfeit their lowest spot(s).
Ball: The official ball is the Dunlop XX Revelation Pro.
