*To participate in the Men's skill level competition, players must have played in at least one US Squash sanctioned tournament--skill level or age group--between July 1, 2004 and February 16, 2005.
**Women are permitted to play in two draws (with the exception of the Open Division participants who may only play in the Open Division). Women who are not playing in the Open Division may compete in an age division, a skill level, or both. The tournament committee will try to minimize scheduling confl icts of players participating in two events; however, if a confl ict does arise, a concession may be necessary. For women playing in two draws there is an additional $25 racquet fee.

GENERAL INFORMATION
VENUE: All matches to be played on Harvard University's Murr Center featuring 16 international courts or MIT's 8 new courts (TBC). Both venues conveniently located near tournament hotels.
TRANSPORTATION: None provided.
ENTRIES ONLINE: Apply online at the US Squash website (www.us-squash. org). There is a $5 convenience fee.
ENTRY DEADLINE: All entries must be received by US Squash no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, February 11, 2005. Online registration will be turned off at that time. NO PHONE OR FAX ENTRIES ACCEPTED.
START TIME NOTIFICATION: First match start times will be posted on the US Squash website (www.us-squash.org) and mailed on March 2, 2005.
SCHEDULE: The S.L. Green Championship and the Women's Open begin Wednesday, March 16, 2005--if the draw size exceeds 16. Play for all other divisions WILL begin on Thursday, March 17, 2005. Small divisions MAY start on Friday depending on the size of the overall draw, but please be prepared to play on Thursday.
REGISTRATION: Will begin on Wednesday evening at Murr Center.
SOCIAL FUNCTIONS: A Friday night social and Saturday evening banquet (Hyatt Regency Cambridge). Times and locations for these events will be in the tournament program.
SANCTIONING: Both Open Divisions have been sanctioned as PSA and WISPA Closed Satellite Tournaments, respectively.
TOURNAMENT REFEREE: Graham Waters, WSF World Referee from Canada. BALL: Dunlop Revelation Pro (double yellow dot)
TOURNAMENT POLICIES ADJUSTING DIVISIONS: A minimum of eight entries per division is required (with the exception of the very oldest age groups). If it is necessary to combine age groups or skill levels, entrants moved to a younger age group or a higher skill level will be contacted by phone and given the option to withdraw. Draw sizes may be limited if necessary.
CLOTHING: Competitors should wear appropriate squash attire of any color. Playing clothing for men consists of a short-sleeve shirt, shorts, socks and playing shoes. Playing clothing for women consists of a shirt worn with a skirt or shorts, or a dress, socks and playing shoes. Other garments such as part of a warm-up suit may be worn during play with the permission of the referee. Headwear is permitted provided it does not distract or unsight and opponent or be potentially dangerous. The decision of the Tournament Referee is final in these matters.
ELIGIBILITY: US citizens or residents, must be members of US Squash in good standing.***The Men's and Women's Open events are open to US citizens only.
ENTRY REFUNDS: o Withdrawal prior to entry deadline -100% refund o Withdrawal after entry deadline but prior to March 2, 2005 - 75% refund o Withdrawal on or after March 2, 2005 - No refund
EYE PROTECTION: Players are required to wear eyeguards that meet or exceed the current American Society for Testing and Materials standard (ASTM F803) during all activities that occur on court involving racquets and balls. The eyewear must be unaltered and worn over the eyes as designed.
PRIZE MONEY: Prize money is offered to all entrants in the Open Divisions. No prize money can be awarded to junior players or college students who wish to retain their eligibility. No prize money will be awarded in walkover matches unless injury is professionally substantiated.
REFEREES: US Squash will strive to provide certified referees for all Open Division matches. For all other divisions the winner of a match will be required to referee the next match on that court or provide a qualified substitute. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
