Line-ups for Round Robin and Elimination Draw Competitions
At the start of a competition each coach/captain must provide a ladder order (Event Line-up) listing all of the participating players in rank order to US Squash which will post it for review by all other coaches/captains. If a team has a player who will be missing the start of the competition the team is permitted to slot the player into the appropriate position which will be listed on the original "Event Line-up" sheet. This "Event Line-up" will show the players in ladder order (number one being the strongest play, number two the next best and so on), which may include up to an additional 40% of the required player number in the competition (for example, if the competition has ten (10) players, then four (4) additional players may be listed in the Line-up. A player may be dropped out of the line-up and placed back in at the same spot to reflect their position on the "Event Line-up". Each coach/captain is obligated to provide the opposing coach with a match line-up one hour prior to a match (or as early as possible, whichever is longer) which will allow each coach/captain enough time to review each other's line-ups and raise any concerns with the Tournament Director for resolution. An opposing coach/captain may challenge a player's ladder position based on their rating, match or challenge record in the current season. A coach/captain must have available upon request an up to date printout of all team matches played and a list of challenge results available for the opposing coach/captain to inspect before each match.
